Obsessive Compulsive Disorde

OCD is a disabling psychiatric condition with a waxing and waning course. As the name suggests,the disorder is characterized by obsessions and compulsions. The symptoms cause significant impairment in time (more than 1 hour a day) and also impairment in social and occupational functioning.

Symptoms of OCD

Symptoms of OCD include recurrent and persistent thoughts, urges or images. Repetitive behaviours such as hand washing, ordering, checking or mental acts like praying, counting and repeating words

Management of OCD
